I think its time to clear this up, the Equality 2010 act is in place to protect vulnerable people from discrimination. Its not necessarily about a mothers right to breastfeed, its about a babies right to eat a meal in comfort and with dignity. Many people say cover it up. If they were to see a disabled person eating a meal in a way they did not see as socially acceptable, would these people be willing to cover that individual with a blanket too? No, because its rude and unfair and highly discriminatory to do so. So why would it be acceptable to do it to a baby? Theyre still people, tiny innocent little people. Same law, same rules. No double standards. Why shame a mother into feeling she is doing something wrong by feeding her child? Why make the child wait, or eat somewhere dirty? Why shroud them under a hot stuffy blanket, unable to see their mother? I just wish people would open their eyes to what this campaign is really about. There is enough negativity in this world without people turning something so beautiful into an unpleasant taboo. This campaign and its followers are trying to do something good and positive. Lets get this understood. Emma
