I think its time to open a huge can of worms. In regard to HMUA. I have spent thousands of dollars and hours training in my craft. I have spent years practicing that craft. I spend money every year on retraining and development. My kit only carries professional products that are safe and I am trained in their use. I follow health and safety guidelines at all times. I have insurance that covers myself and my clients. I have huge concerns for the safety of models that are being worked on by HMUA that are unqualified and uninsured. It is hard enough to get decent paid work in our field without having HMUA cast for any work without sufficient training - correct products or insurance.
