I think kitchen stoves, ovens, and appliances should be forced to display a cleanability rating. The rating system should go something like: 1 – Disposable. If you manage to open this to clean it you will never ever get it back into one piece. 3 – Spiritual. You can clean the outside of this relatively easily but to think the inside is clean requires faith. 5 - General equipment. This can be cleaned but don’t plan on watching any television tonight. Remember to get the special brushes from the garage. 10 – Holy Grail. The engineer who designed this spent time as a kitchen hand. A moderately intelligent individual can clean this in less than 5 minutes without specialised equipment, and would be willing to prepare and eat from it second time.
