I think our rescue is viewed upon as the Mikey of the rescue community. When I have contacted some shelters for very adoptable dogs, boy do they have rescue quickly. But they sure do push their problem dogs on us ;). This is actually OK, because some of the problem dogs we have taken in have turned out to be amazing dogs, they just needed time, and were not turn key dogs. And they have the special groups for the blood and gore ones which will get a heck of a lot of attention and money. We take in those grey area dogs no one seems to care much about. But most of them are Diamonds in the rough. And some of them truly are doozies but thats ok because we are the Mikey of rescue ;). Off to play with the grey dogs ;)
