I think people are hungry for a spirituality that is liveable and doesn’t deny our humanity. I think our humanity has been denied for too long. “I am pure consciousness…” Yes, OK, we’ve heard that so many times, but what does that mean in the moment? When you come home from your work and your partner is there and she is upset with you, what does it mean to be pure consciousness in that moment? Does it mean that you just tell her that you are pure consciousness, that her issues are all relative stuff and that you live in the Absolute now? That you are so enlightened it doesn’t touch you? Why are we so afraid of being touched? When did spirituality ever become about being some untouchable awareness? -Jeff Foster
