I think that Patrick Brazeaus allegations of a backroom offer from the Senate leader are indicative of the PMO strategy on crisis management. THey offer a deal for the individual to take a hit....to fall on their sword as it were. Such a mystifying number have done so for the Prime Minister that one wonders what it is they are offering people. WHat does he offer....or hold over their heads to make them do this for him? Hes like Thulsa Doom ordering lackeys to jump off a dais to their death and they simply do it....no hesitation.....UNTIL NOW....Duffy, Wallin and Brazeau are not taking the bait. Instead, it appears to me that they perhaps witnessed too many raw deals from the other lackeys....perhaps their egos are too big for them to swallow discommodation like this. WHo knows? Its just conjecture. All I know is that now that this trio has refused to do it, the PM will be hard pressed to convince any more of them to throw themselves on their swords. I just dont think its going to happen again.
