I think that US education should emphasize arts, humanities, and physical education to develop the creative minds and entrepreneurs who are able to start their own online hand made store and also to prevent childhood obesity and diabetes. When you run your own online Etsy store not only do you need to know how to write creative descriptions of your products, you do your own jewelry designs, make your own business cards and banner, set up a business plan, marketing plan, packaging, social media marketing and deliver great customer service. All of this is not taught in schools today. They only teach you how to pass standardized tests.
