I think that one of the hardest jobs in this country would have to be White House Press Secretary. Everyday you are put out in front of the press, some who are serious journalists and some who are not, and have to answer questions about somebody elses decisions, statements, whatever the case may be. It would be agonizingly difficult if you had to deliver information that you knew to be untrue. Over the years there have been so many different press secretaries that Im sure they havent all shared the same faith. For their sake I hope that whatever religion they adhered to had the equivalent of Confession. I dont know how one could live with himself/herself knowing they were lying to the public. It would probably be too great a weight for anyone to bear, which is why Im sure it probably never happens. I wonder if its a job that you apply for or that you get by drawing the wrong straw.
