I think the hardest time is when people begin to wake up to their unhappiness...one that is seeded from very early but doesnt bear misery for years and years....and its always something. That is when the real work actually begins. Thats when you see what youre love and commitment is made of, as a person and as a Communion. One partner does this or that for the first half....then the other partner has his/her day doing this or that in reaction to the This or That.....then comes the head....when enough is enough...when the misery and separation is so deep and unexplained that the path has to bend or break. When you see just how much of your guts you can pick up off the floor and forgive it ALL. How much more can you both give at the time when you are both the most empty?....Can you make yourself new again in Love and Respect and for each other?...Will one have to work harder to soften the road for Both because one is more gone than the other? Can you work to let go of your pain and anger to invite softness and healing? Can you go over a break up in your mind and heart over and over until you realize in the darkest of nights without the benefit of tenderness and friendship..that you dont want to go...you want to stay? And then can you wait for the other to wake slowly? Can you wait for them to realize you are still there because you choose them and love and healing...and now its up to them to choose love and union once more? And can you still remain soft and pliant while you Wait... AND openly revealing your pain when they still come at you asleep to loves depths? Can you still wait and hold on through the small steps and gestures at the tender rebirth? Can you? NO, Will you? THATS the question....Blessed
