I think the most beautiful Ive ever seen people is when youre talking to them and you say something and their eyes light up and they lean forward and they smirk a little and they almost interrupt you but hold back and let you finish. Or when they laugh so hard their entire body curls towards their center and they cant breathe and they throw their head back and in their eyes you see a certain sparkle that only comes from genuine happiness. Or maybe its when youre staring at them from across a table, a somber look on your face while you give them bad news. That flash of pure hurt that hits their face like a slap and how all of a sudden they look a little older, more worn and wise to pain, how you can see every bad memory play out in their eyes. These moments of honesty are so brutal and raw and refreshing. When people let their true emotions out, they become vulnerable and so magical to watch. I love that.
