I think the point of life is to leave the world a better place. Not so much the environment, although that would be great, but also as we affect the people around us. Be good, be respectful, be as honest as you can. We want to be remembered with a smile. When you think of me, smile. Thats where the good stuff is. There are people in my life who have left me, through no fault of their own, but with them gone, they left me with parts of themselves. Their humor, their warmth, their stories. There are things I do that reflect those that have past on or moved on. Those actions and thoughts I have of them, keep them alive, for not only me, but for all the people I interact with. I pass those things along. Spreading all the good things those who are not here have taught me. Because arent we a product of the people who have touched us? Arent we at this moment a culmination of past experiences? Carry on, and you will touch lives and you too will become immortal. Oh and yes, dogs count too.
