I think the ultimate diet would be a Raw/Paleo fusion diet, with lots of fermented foods like Kimchi and Yogurt. So- like 33% Paleo, and 77% Raw. Even when I did strict completely raw only diets, which I have done for a month or more at a time, for physical regeneration, I would still eat raw fish- which to me is pretty much just like a fruit and does not interfere with the rawness at all. So why not a Paleo/Raw diet? If you are not inventing/creating a diet for morality reasons, if your diet is not some kind of quasi-religion, then scientifically, this would be the ultimate- a Raw Foods diet, with cooked meats, raw fish, along with much fermented foods of all kinds. If you build a diet based on pure reason, and not sentiment, then you can actually come up with the ultimate diet. If animal cruelty is an issue to you and you base your diet around that issue- and not on real health science, then your reasoning will be skewed, and you will not be able to see the scientific realities. Nor will you admit the actual history of the human diet, which is that we, as hunter gatherers, in fact, ate mostly meat. Look at any Amazonian Native, for example- just look at what they eat in their "Garden of Eden".
