I think there are some radical thinkers on both sides with decent talking points that would like to see things change in Washington. I think the two parties differ in core ideology when it comes to social issues. I think the real threat to everything, however, isnt where either party stands on social issues, but the vicelike grip the greediest elite have over our government (and many others). The astronomically wealthy mainly use the biggest corporations to gain control of and influence politics. I side with the liberal philosophy and suspect there are dedicated congresspeople who want to make good changes for all of us. But I do not believe they will ever succeed while one party is dominated by this corporate greed and too many on the opposite side are easily bought. Social issues are the fundamental difference between the two parties and no matter what we feel on those topics, they will NEVER be resolved while the biggest threat to everything remains unchanged, the control that the greediest and most elite have over our government(s). If everyone has healthy food, clean water, living accommodations that are basic and safe, and access to healthcare then our social problems will honestly work themselves out. I do not buy into the notion that these four ideas are liberal ideals just because liberals are fighting for the now. The anger and vehemence we feel for the other is fed and exacerbated by a gross disparity between the haves and the have nots (a group 90% of us are in).
