I think we are seeing more and more of this. Police assuming hostility and then responding with hostility. Please watch this video and tell me what you think. They order him to turn around and place his hands behind his back. He turns around and then violence without a moments hesitation. Here is the thing, if I were given a two part instruction I think it is likely that I would do the first and maybe not catch or respond instantly to the second. To instantly go from the instruction to a choke hold and toss to the ground seems over the top. Why does it -seem- like officers are expecting violence more and more often?
