I think we should have an evening of group riding practice on the Staveley Bypass in the not too distant future as the group riding skills of some of our newest members needs honing. It fills me with fear seeing a large group of erratic members out on our road, Ive had a couple of experiences sitting at the back or observing some of our less experienced groups and its truly frightening, not blaming anyone.. Its just a statement if fact. If we allow it to continue someone is likely to get badly hurt, either by crossing the white line, connecting with another rider or getting lamped by an irate motorist. Would any of the more experienced members be willing to give up an evening and cattle prod a small group of half a dozen less experienced riders into some sort of shape ? Thinking perhaps a week on Thursday?
