I think we will look back on this period in British history with shame. From Thatcher selling of the housing stock with Right to buy so future generations have nowhere to live and often cant get housing in their own towns.....Starting the process of giving our national assets away on the cheap, water, electric, trains etc......Undermining the workers rights, getting rid of our major manufacturing industrys for what?.......PFI so that the public purse can pay the richest over and over again for schools and hospitals, jam today......Getting involved in unnecessary wars for what? Oil? result of that is ISIS! predictable.......Corruption and greed at the highest level with their expenses and back handers to donors to whom they give away tax breaks and more public assets.....Who gave that utter callous bastard IDS power over the weakest in our society!........IT JUST GOES ON AND ON and the major partys are all basically the same. Greed and avarice. A (supposedly) first world country should in my view be defined by the way it looks after its weakest members. Not just the pensioners (Who vote!) but the very poorest who are starving and living on a pittance and visiting food banks.......Soldiers who give their best let down repeatedly...... Those with physical and mental health conditions who are repeatedly beaten down and worst of all, those who are so down they cant take any more so take their own lives.......... whilst those who cause this mess get knighthoods and higher bonuses and live like kings. I am ashamed of the way my country treats my fellow members. Just had to get that off my chest Merry Xmas.
