I thinks today should be remembered just like everyone else. But the extreme in which it is done is overkill. I dont even like to get on Facebook on days like today bc I know that this is what will cover my news feed. But as of tomorrow everyone will go on their merry little ways and its onto lifes drama, planning weddings, expecting babies and starting new jobs until the next 9/11 rolls around. Its been 13 yrs and it was a significant tragedy for our nation, but we have far more pressing issues that no one pays attention to. For instance, there are soldiers that fought for our country...whether it be pre or post 9/11...that are HOMELESS! Outside in the elements suffering from PTSD and no one seems to care. We have people in our own nation shooting up schools and killing innocent people in movie theaters, yet its big news for a week or so and then we forget about it. While we remember the people who died at these terrorist hands, maybe we should remember everyone that has died at the hands of the people who were citizens of our great nation.
