I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I did almost all of these except grow up with the TV and jumping on the bed. I could add a few more like Raking and jumping in the fall leaves, packing a lunch and taking a little hike with my friends, Rolling down hills at the fairgrounds, mom and her friends taking us to the fairgrounds on picnics, all of us kids sitting on moms bed talking or singing church songs before we went to sleep and dad would be on second or third shift, taking dad to work when he was on second shift and then go back and pick him up at midnight because we only had one car and wanted to use it at times, knew when Mom said you wait til your Dad gets home we better run when he got home, Never sassed Dad, going with dad to cut down a Christmas tree which everybody did back in those days, or going with him to cut firewood-riding the big tall slim trees down to the ground while we were there and above All I enjoyed all of these things and many when mom and dad could join in. Yes I lived in the PLEASANT, SIMPLE TIMES. Miss Mom and Dad but blessed I had the parents that I did. Thanks to my sister, Vic Hendrix for posting this. I needed this. Just a reminder how blessed we 12 children were and still are!!!❤️ my !!!
