I though it might be interesting to start some more "risque" discussions here on AL. To that end, what better topic than Satanism? Contrary to popular belief. Satanism has NOTHING to do with Satan. The reason it is considered so taboo is because Satanism does not deal with the worship of ANY god or higher being, but rather Mankind. This is why various groups associate it with Satan, the though of Mankind as god is considered a EXTREME threat to organised religion. Kinda like Atheism. This continues to bring legitimacy to the idea of Non-Belief being a bigger threat to various religious factions than competing religions. Feel free to share any thoughts or opinions below. -trex
