I thought I had shared this earlier today but somehow, it never posted to my FB. . .Wear the Purple Ribbon along with the Pink Ribbon this month - -there is a deadly CANCER of which people still do not speak. One which you will not here in this space people requesting prayer about or admitting that it is happening to them and that they have been engaged in the battle for their lives for all these years. Some will not survive and you may never know until you are standing at the graveside after that final time, when it went beyond what usually happened to what they always feared would happen, the monster took their lives. You see this CANCER comes in a deceptive form of another human being who wears a disguise that many never recognize. . .and they live and work with you and me, everyday of our lives and yes, they even sit beside us on the church pew on Sunday morning and eat with us at the Fellowship Meal on Wednesday night. . .and sometimes, they come in the form of the ones who are called to enforce the laws that are supposed to protect the very ones they are victimizing but no one does anything because they are the law and still there are those who are leaders in the community, whose lily white reputations withstand any scrutiny and whose deep pockets and long reaching contacts have made them virtually untouchable and unstoppable and their victim(s) know because they have been told it over and over by their ABUSER and then by the ones they attempted to REPORT it to, but no one listened, no one heard because they didnt want to believe it and even if they did, it wasnt their problem. Too many times we have buried our heads like the proverbial ostrich to the detriment and death of others around us as they have suffered at the hands of the abuser over a number of years. . .youve watched it and youve known it but youve just not wanted to believe it. . .today, I hope you will simply have the courage to stop and read this blog and to simply pause and pray, ask God to open your eyes to those around you, so that you may see them and more readily that you may actually hear their voice when they speak and may you simply have the COURAGE, to DO SOMETHING. . .because it will not stop until you say NO MORE because young lives are living all around this every day and they will either become the ABUSER or become one of the ABUSED. . .they learn what they see and hear. . .and believe me, they hear and see a lot more than you will ever realize, no matter what their age. . .isnt it time for the CYCLE OF ABUSE to be STOPPED? . . .kjsw
