I thought I would share a personal letter I received with all of you Sxx Dear Sandie, I do hope all is well and my apologies for the message out of the blue. My name is Rory Stewart - Im a writer, and an MP - and am helping to organise the construction of a giant Cairn of friendship for communities on both sides of the Scotland-England border. We are gathering thousands of people from across the British Isles to come together and each place a stone as a sign of love, respect and commitment to Scotland and its place in the Union. I saw that you signed Lets Stay Togethers fantastic letter to show Scotland how much the rest of the United Kingdom cares about it. I feel that our two initiatives are both very positive additions to the larger No campaign and offer those without a vote in the referendum an opportunity to have their say. I was wondering if there was any possibility that you might be able to come to the site of our Cairn in Gretna to lay a stone at any point that would suit you between now and 18 September? We would be most grateful if you could make it and your attendance would be a tremendous boost to our cause.
