I thought about this when I heard the polar vortex would hit the Northeast. Yeah, cooler weather sounds great, especially to someone in Mobile, AL. But that same pattern brought Mobile insane freezing this past winter. And California is in a drought, a heat wave, and burning. Shifts in weather patterns may be normal over thousands of years, but this shift has been swift and deadly. As someone who has livestock and who knows a lot of farmers, this concerns me.
