I thought once I shared my collection of little known facts, Id be exempt from doing so again when I liked someone elses. Guess not, huh? So here we go with another 14. And I dont like anybody anymore, just so you know. Not a soul. Not even a little bit. Ms. Misanthropic, thats me. Up yours. Et cetera. 1. I recently obtained a mail-order ordination after my son asked me to marry him and his fiancée. What title to adopt is giving me more trouble than any other part of it. Reverend? Me??? 2. Id trade every single one of my five cats for one good dog. And I really like cats. 3. Most of my childhood was spent in Berlin, with the occasional detour to North Carolina. 4. The moment I learned of oppositional defiance disorder, I knew it applied to me. It may stem from my PTSD, but I do have problems with authority. 5. Paint me into a corner, and I fight. 6. Im crazier than a shithouse rat, what with the aforementioned PTSD and chronic moderate to severe depression. Between therapy for the former and meds for the latter, though, things are under control. And I can fake it like a champ on bad days. Only my family and my closest friends even know when I get a case of the gloomies. 7. Im going to retire by the ocean even if I have to do it alone. That old saw about finding your bliss? Thats where mine is. 8. I really, really, really like to sleep. 9. Kids and animals like me. A lot. 10. Up until my late twenties, I was a size five. Now Im a zip code. My mental image of myself, though, is still as a slender woman. As a result, every time I see a recent photograph, Im shocked. 11. Ive never had an empty nest, damn it. 12. No, you cant move in. 13. Im intrigued by the idea of reincarnation, and would love to have time regression hypnosis done. 14. My extended family is huge, and I get a kick out of almost all of my relatives. Theyre smart, creative, and funny, and no matter what, always wind up coming through for each other.
