I thought that I would try cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving. Little did I know that it would be such an ordeal! I figure I pluck all the feathers out and it would be ready to go. NOOOOO!!! The whole time I am plucking his dang feathers out he just kept kicking and gobbling and trying to peck me with his beak! Once I got through I thought the worst part was over. He apparently liked me trying to shove stuffing in him even WORSE! And it was going to be such a nice cornbread stuffing too. I was trying something innovative and was going to leave the corn on the cob and in the shuck. Well he was having no part of that either! And THEN, once I finally got his bald and stuffed ass in the oven, not only did it keep kicking the door back open, but then another chase would ensue around the house. I am starting to believe that I just got a cantankerous turkey since I have not heard of ANY body else having a similar experience! Oh well, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everybody anyway! ~ So says me!
