I thought that all of you my friends that care about cats would like to read the following communication between me and someone who has been posting just too many rescue situations on my page recently. I am making this public because maybe Im wrong. You will have to decide. jf Jf Richards avril. I dont mind you sharing 1 or at the most 2 cats a day for reshare but i cannot reshare more then that. Also please do not share pictures that are old where the animal is obviously already dead. If that EVER happens, rest assured that it was unintentional/accidental; most of the pix on the newsfeed are current--every now and then someone dredges up one thats ancient history--most of the time I catch them--not always, apparently. Btw, I didnt realize that you had been taking it upon yourself to do the crossposting; honestly, I figured that your legions of followers would mostly be doing that, and that was my dead-simple motivation: Jf has a lot of followers, and critters posted to his page will get a lot of desperately needed exposure Dead simple/logical; as a matter of fact, I frequently notice in the pop-up notifications that PEOPLE--NOT YOU--had been to your page and liked some critter that Id just posted--so, its appeared to me that my logical choice to post on your page has paid off, to whatever degree, as hoped/anticipated. Fyi, yours is not the only page that I post to--I post-to up to a couple dozen, at the most, at any given time--so youre NOT the recipient of the weight of the haul of critters in need. I will, as per your request, restrict my use of your page to, 1 or at the most 2 cats a day--Ill make sure that on a scale of 1-10, as per the egregiousness/urgency of the incident, that theyre clearly *11s*, or, I can leave you out of the equation altogether if you wish--its your call Jf. I sure had you figured wrong Jf. From early on I saw you as a noble soul, and certainly a Role Model among the animal advocates, but boy oh boy was I wrong, and Thank You for creating this opportunity to share my unexpurgated opinion of you, w/YOU (privately, via PM): First off: 1 or 2 Cats? You know as well as any of us that thats an insanely inadequate figure, as we both know that there are THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS OF CRITTERS IN WRETCHED SITUATIONS ON AND OFF OF DEATH ROW(S)--GLOBALLY, LET ALONE LOCALLY/DOMESTICALLY. I would have thought--(go ahead, laugh at this...)--that youd be Honored to be viewed as someone who has a significant impact on even RAISING THE POTENTIAL to SAVE LIVES. Granted, youre You, Im Not You--but I do feel honored and favorably distinguished that my page is chosen by many individuals probably for the same reason that I choose your page: I have a big number of friends, all of whom are heavy-duty animal activists, many of whom are also artistic-types, like me--so yeah, were all literally on the same page! I was amazed--blown-away actually--UNFAVORABLY--by what might be perceived as a somewhat Greedy campaign to fix Reversalas gam. Greedy... Reckless... bordering on a scam Jf; but please let me explain why I see it that way--[and, btw, your ivory tower is toppling, because there IS a contingent of people who realize you dont walk on water after all...]. I suppose part of what you consider clutter are the various appeals of many of your fellow animal-advocates who truly ARE in DIRE NEED of funds for, in many, actually most instances LIFE-SAVING MEASURES? Who cares if YOU or ANYone uses 10s of thousands of their OWN bucks for whatever they want, but to campaign for thousands of bucks to save a leg that a critter will adopt to living without, brilliantly, while at the same time being aware of all the TRULY desperate, Life/Death scenarios that people are sloughing-off every particle of dignity to BEG for help for, makes your campaign for Reversala shameless--GREEDY--inconsiderate, and slightly Obscene! You, who--unless youve been lying through your teeth to your followers--are gainfully, solidly, and consistently EMPLOYED (read: raking in the bucks on a regular basis), and therefore REALLY DIDNT NEED TO CAMPAIGN FOR CLOSE TO 10G, WHEN YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT 1) REVERSALA WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE and DANDY AS A TRIPOD AND 2) ALL THAT DOUGH--EVEN DIVIDED INTO SEGMENTS--WOULD HAVE SAVED COUNTLESS LIVES OF ANIMALS IN SHITTY HOARDING SCENARIOS... OR OUTDOOR SCENARIOS WHERE THEY WERE BEING KILLED BY CAT-HATING LOCALS... OR WERE IN NEED OF LIFE-SAVING/ALTERING SURGERY WHEN THEIR TOTALLY-BROKE HUMANS COULDNT FIND A VET WHO WOULD LET THEM PAY IN INSTALLMENTS SO INSTEAD HAD TO WATCH THEM DIE, OR WERE ONLY ABLE TO BRING THEM SOMEWHERE WHEN IT WAS TOO LATE AND THEY (the critter(s)) NEEDED TO BE PUT OUT OF THEIR MISERY... I dont know how you can live w/that Jf--but the Jf Circus must go on at all costs, literally, right? Jf Richards 5:24pm Jf Richards you know ive asked 100s of people the same thing i asked of you share 1 or 2 cats a day. Since you never come back and look at my comments you would know that i actually read every single post that is put on my page and read the detail about the animals. You never replied one time and that is because you post and run and rather then focus on one animal that can be saved you think that my page is just a place for you to share every animal that you think that my friends can help. In the last week you have posted a minium of 6 cats a day, some with no contact information somethat were already dead according to the original posts. When i made a comment on them you never had the courtesy to answer me. Now for your information i reshare every viable post within hours of it being posted on my page unless it occurs over night. AlI ask is that you read the detail before you mindlessly post about some poor cat that cant be helped because there is no way to contact the people that have the cat. I also post and repost fundraisers that are for my friends in need. Do I get it wrong sometimes ?? I sure do but I try and do my best. I personally try and donate to every friend who needs help. Can I so it everytime ?? no sadly I cant but I sure try and help. For the past 3 years, through my heart attack and after, I have had a crappy job that didnt pay me enough money to even pay all of my bills yet i still managed to donate at least $200 a month to friends in need, sometimes more. In my extra time I sell things on Ebay which helps to pay for my 26 cats and gives me a bit of extra money to help my friends in need. As far as Reversala is concerned, you are right. I could have have had her leg cut cut off and she would have lived as a happy 3 legged cat. But I thought that while I couldnt afford to help her maybe I could use my vast resources to help one, yes one cat that maybe i could change the world for and I still ran fundraisers for friend in need, animals that I helped save and i personally dont think one effects the other. When I originally met you through Christina, I was told you were unstable but as i normally do I kept my mouth shut for the benefit of the animals including hers. Now unlike tou who stated that you were going to talk about me behind my back i am going to make to post this publicly so my real friends can see the crap that I have to deal with while still taking care of my cats, my house and my new job which are the only things I really should be doing on my day off.
