I thought the chances of this actually working were very low, but it has exceeded my initial goal. It was of course set for last months rent, and things have changed since then. I cant use it to pay my roommate everything I owe, but its about the amount I need to cover December rent in a few days. That of course doesnt cover eating, or laundry, but Im pretty close, and that is amazing. The failures, and rejections were making me not feel like I was worth so much, but support like this makes me feel like I matter to a few people.
