I thought this might be helpful to some.... if you are harboring Unforgiveness, theres a good chance YOU are the only one being affected by it...... The other person might not even think twice about the situation. Right now would be a GREAT time to give it to God, Bitterness Unforgiveness creates a root of bitterness. God sends tormentors to bitter people. In the parable of the slave and the slave owner, the Lord rebuked the slave who refused to forgive an offender. A bitter person becomes a prisoner of his own making. The worlds way of dealing with bitterness is twofold: You can keep it to yourself and become sick, or you can express yourself and cause others harm. Gods solution is to locate the root of bitterness and permanently get rid of it. It is only by Gods grace that this can be accomplished. Only by knowing Jesus as your Savior will you be able to get rid of a root of bitterness. Christians should never follow the worlds example when dealing with spiritual issues. The Bible says to get rid of bitterness. You dont keep it in and you dont spread it around; you surrender it to God and trust Him for the finished work.
