I, together with 6 more friends of Kirtipur Struggle Committee formed against Road Expansion in Kirtipur, submitted the cc of letter earlier submitted to Kirtipur Municipality to the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority, and the District Commissioner of Kathmandu District Development Authority, Dr. Bhaikaji Tiwari. Dr. Tiwari promised not to implement road expansion in Kirtipur unless the Municipality demands for it. The other day, Executive Officer, Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha of Kirtipur Municipality also promised that he would never ever include road expansion plan. Dr. Tiwari also mentioned that Gankhel to new gate will be expanded only after TU gives its permission to use its land. And, this road will connect to road going to Dakxhin Kali.
