I took 66 steps yesterday with a walker. no one had to hold my weak right knee or provide a firm hand on my lower back. I continue to make good progress on this most visible part of my spinal cord injury.. The attached article talks about some of the other challenges of my injury. It also talks about the time lost in life. huffingtonpost/dangriffin/the-precious-commodity-of_b_5791132.html?msource=email The time I am missing most now is the time i spent with penny and yall on the softball field, tailgating before a vols game or enjoying a meal in a great pub. I know getting my legs back will give Penny Carver and I back some of that time. If you might have any time to spare, my Kessler therapy may be increasing to 5 days/week if I manage to get into a rehab study. I have 4 great volunteer drivers; another 3 would be a big help. From 12:30-4pm M-F is the time investment. Drop a line if interested.
