I took Cole to the donut shop after school, early out today! Cole returned to the suburban and we drove away. Instantly, a bee landed on the bag of donuts, which was on Coles lap. As Im driving, I started swatting the air all the while Cole and I are hollering our heads off. Quickly realizing the hazard of swatting and driving, I park the suburban at the stop sign just north of Oolman Funeral Home. Cole and I jump out of the vehicle, still yelling. I grab the kleenexes and start pounding any area where the bee flew. Suddenly, there was another, and then another, and yet a fourth one showed up to the party! This all took place in less than a minute. Cars driving by on Albany Ave. must have wondered, What the world is going on? I continue to attempt to squash the 4 bees at any chance I can when they landed. I killed 2 right away. The 3rd left, must have known its doom. But the fourth bee was Goliath. It swarmed Coles and my head. It teased us by landing somewhere and then dive-bombing both of us. Finally, Goliath flew outside and my eyes watched it land on the street. Instead of stomping on it, my first instinct was to smash it with the kleenexes. Picture this: a suburban is parked at a stop sign, both front doors are open, two passengers are standing outside waving their arms in the air, and to end it... a middle-aged lady punched the street with a package of kleenexes. Goliath was dead. Cole and I hopped back in the suburban, we closed our windows, and I drove away rapidly from the area. Be careful out there, people!
