I took Toby to an outdoor social gathering last evening and he had a blast. He wandered around and said hello to everybody. Ate stuff off of the ground. Helpfully shredded any paper napkins that he came across. Helped himself to coffee and any red wine that was in reach. Ran to me with joy whenever there wasnt something better elsewhere -- even if I suspected he was headed to the car. And when he ran to me he leaped onto my lap and happily accepted all the praise and pats that I could give him. What a dog. Im so happy for Toby.
