I took a lot of heat for having Asha euthanized - and I took it personally for a second. Those who know me, understand that my rescue, myself and my family did everything possible for her. Most importantly - she was loved. But she was a danger to others and I was no longer willing to risk lives. Nor was I willing to allow perpetuation of a stigma attached to her wonderful breed type in the event of another one of her attacks. Monika Laux Turner Is an amazing rescue who has done more than most. We dont always see eye to eye on topics, but thats okay. It makes it all the more colorful. Our common goal is to make the world a better place for the animals. She has certainly accomplished that - and will continue to do so. As will I .
