I took his brace off today for a little as long as he promised not to move so that he could air out & have a break . He did great. As Im used to mainly seeing the back of neck for dressing change I saw the front better his neck is still very swollen ( I knew it would be) it was just shocking to see it that big (I know itll go down in time) Im just used to seeing the Adams apple & now can barely see it. Hes still doing very well,incisions look healed,walking a lot more,getting out of house a little more(but drives mom crazy) day 3 of no pain meds even Tylenol( he fights through the pain) although hes def not in as much as he was. He still needs to work on sitting up more & longer. He has lost a lot of his strength in both arms & hands that he & us have noticed since he started moving around more its hard for him to open the fridge & lift some things. Thank goodness with physical therapy that should start soon hell regain it in time
