I took my dogs to the caloundra markets today, they are both young and look a little intimidating but we kept them calm and on a short leash and they acted really well!! Both were very interested in all people and surroundings but kept to themselves very well. We were stopped quite a few times for people who wanted to say hello and give them a pat and each time my dogs loved the stranger attention! But what I did find was a lot of people at the markets who did not receive my dogs well, we would just be walking along nicely and they would make all sorts of nasty faces!!! I was just a little disappointed by the way some people reacted to us simply being there, my dogs were very well behaved but the looks some people were giving us almost seemed to say oh dont you dare even let your dogs look at me!!! Anyway Im not in anyway mad and I understand that some dogs arent raised well and socialised and because of that they can be scary but it would be nice if next time 50% of the people we walked past didnt death stare us!!! We work enough that on our days off we believe the dogs deserve for us to be present and take them where we go. Just my opinion but chances are, if theres people and dogs calmly and happily walking along, you dont need to freak our, youre not going to die! Haha
