I took this on one of the cooler nights over the holidays and have realized of my own bat a star shooting rule i.e. limit the length of the exposure to prevent star trails this was taken with a 30 sec exp @ F11, iso 400 just a little too open/long as the stars are just starting to shift, but on the night I wasnt prepared for how jiggly cold it was going to be so this was my 4th snap and I retreated back in doors to unfreeze me bones lol and interesting note on the foreground Ive a pet cat called shadow..yes hard to see at night too. Well she was traipsing about while I had this one counting down and I backed away from the tripod to draw take her away from the setup and BAM! I tripped the pir floodlight that btw is day light temperature and low and behold I got this foreground :D
