I totally forgot to share something that happened on Friday... While picking up boo from school, her teacher told me that she was very impressed with how self-sufficient and independent Boo was... Later, at the hospital waiting for Frederick Wilcox, I was again complemented about Boo by the gift shop teller. Boo went around the whole shop several times, and had asked for a number of items, all well outside my price range. She finally came to a tootsie pop stand, and asked for one. They were fifteen cents each, so I agreed. She then asked for some change from me so she could pay for it herself. I handed her a quarter, and she solemnly placed it on the counter, and grinned with delight as she was addressed like a "big girl". The lady thought it was remarkable that Boo was so well-behaved, and how intelligent and independent she was. I have never felt more proud of my daughter.
