I trained joker to sleep with Beth as a pup do she would always have his comforting presence. A few years ago she moved her bedroom upstairs. Hes getting old and has problems with his back legs so doesnt go up there anymore So this 90 lb dog sleeps near me. When I sleep in my bed thats okay though boosting him up is interesting to say the least. But when Im sick or in pain I tend to sleep on the couch. Dang dog waits til Im sound asleep them stocks his nose in my face waking me up and doesnt leave me alone til I curl my legs up at which point he laboriously climbs up on the other end of the couch. Then he stretches allllllllll the way out and lets out this deep contented sigh. Keep in mind this dog is as tall as me when he stands up on his hind legs. By then Im too sleepy to care but its disconcerting to wake up with a wet nose breathing on the backside
