I tried..... I really really tried. But man of steel is just a special effects cluster mess film! Wheres the heart? Is was just not there! I waited a long time to watch it and it was just not worth the time. I actually found myself continuously sighing when another building got destroyed.... then another.... and so on! So many way over the top special effects! I really just wanted the film to end! Maybe the younger people like it, but for me, a child of the 70s and 80s versions, it just didnt have the heart of the original films.
