I tried a slightly different stir-fry tonight, I cut up the vegetables as usual, cabbage, leeks, thinly sliced carrots, peppers, sun dried tomato etc. or whatever is in the fridge, and added two teaspoons of green pesto instead of sauce. In the mean time I had been preparing a chilli beef dish just by adding an onion, red kidney beans and a couple of tablespoons of passata to the mince meat which had been drained of fat, not too much sauce as I wanted this fairly dry. When the stirfry was ready I added the chilli beef and hey presto - Chilli beef sitr fry! It was delicious!
