I tried posting this yesterday but couldnt get on Facebook for some reason (bloody iPod and cheap phone!) It was an historic day, Scotland had voted NO, and had decided as a nation to keep our United Kingdom as one. Its a day our grandchildren will learn about in school in years to come. Now Im not political for the most part, and this referendum doesnt directly affect me as much as many political aspects should (but dont) that do directly affect me, but for what my opinion is worth, I for one though think its a good thing that Scotland are staying with us for three reasons; •Firstly we are now highly likely to have political reform between all four nations, meaning we could have only English MPs voting on English policies, only Scottish MPs voting on Scottish policies and so on • Secondly Scotlands export revenue highly contributes to our economy, and both nations gain off sharing other resources, such as the NHS and the Armed Forces. • And finally it means England have still got a decent tennis player!!
