I tried to read the message from the Supertendient of Schools for Hemet Unitified Schools Hemet, CA tonight... It talked a lot of class reduction. (down from 36 to 34). It talked about all the money they are spending on more custodians,site councilors computer upgrades $164k for preK programs. WE already have state run daycare and pre school programs why do we need PreK... But what is ASTONISHING is not ONE WORD ABOUT TEACHERS SALERIES.. Where is their raises????? I do recall the Superintendent, and service staff getting theirs. Our hard working teachers are the ones on the front lines EVERY DAY. Not sitting in district office hoping no one disturbs them.... It is time this State as well as this school district wake up and FIX THE SYSTEM IT IS BROKEN And anyone that thinks school teachers get paid too much NEEDS to sit in a classroom for a month...
