I truly believe things happen for a reason. I have been doing the same type of work in various degrees for 26 yrs. I have had good jobs, great job, some kind of iffy, but the last 7 weeks have had the most drama Queen, unprofessional, lying, disrespectful boss I have ever worked with. Very sad because the main crew and others were great to work with. I am tired of the terrible treatment, mood swings, ( funny how she yells and flies off the handle then seems to leave for a 1/2 hr to and hour) then comes back all happy at least for a few minutes. Today the sarcastic attitude and lies were the final straw! I was ready to walk off the job during the shift. ( something I have NEVER done) I finished the day because the prime contractor owner and inspector asked us to finish the shift. I heard lots of threats and many sarcastic comments. I made a phone call on the way home.I was told not to worry about it and was offered a new job before the phone call ended,and before I even made it home! Start a New job on Monday, was told there has been many complaints about this person already! I give my friend and roommate lots of credit, we tried to hang in there and lasted a lot longer than we should of! Looking forward to next week, better job and better pay! :)
