I truly dont understand. And, when I look at my FINANCIAL STATEMENT - not rhetoric or opinion, it seem very clear to me how this will go. The one comment that I believe may have also been missed in the con is: And businesses will close due to their inability to remain in business due to the price increase they will HAVE to implement in order to pay all the additional money. And the two words they missed in the pro statement is: for today Ultimately the workers wont have more money .. they will have higher taxes (Fed/SS), prices will increase to cover the expenses of the businesses THEY frequent, and prices wont go up dollar for dollar, because it isnt just payroll that will now increase - businesses will have higher prices to pay for the goods/services they consume, as well and that will be passed on to the consumer - businesses arent just going to absorb it. (I know this is a very heated topic - but I decided I would share my PERSONAL opinion.)
