I try not to rant on Facebook but so far I am completely unable to register Cameron for school because I am not his mother. He is 6 years old and has never been through the court system, but Warren County is trying to force us to go to court and get a custody agreement? I bring in the paperwork and they tell me sorry he cant enroll without a copy of the custody agreement, I tell her look we share custody and dont have one but his mother is in school so he goes to school for childcare purposes at my house. Too bad his mother has soul legal custody, I said no we share custody look thats me on the birth certificate, no go ,she says we have to go to court, even an agreement between Tera Herlinger and I signed by a notary wont work! Soooo they are shoving us into a broken system that some people really need and wasting time and money for what? Oh and the kicker is school starts 8/20 and we cant get a court date until October!! ???!!!! But if Tera walked in with the same paperwork filled out the same way they wouldnt blink an eye and he would be enrolled right away, problem is we live in different counties and I bought a new house and am moving a half hour away do my child is in a great school district that now he cant attend! Thank you
