I try not to weigh in politically on Facebook because I have many close friends who differ on politics. But I feel compelled to say that Prez Obamas speech that he gives the UN is compelling, smart, optimistic and from the position of a strong country seeking alliances of others against terrorism. It isnt arrogant, but reasoned. It makes me proud to be an American, proud of how we should handle radical extremists, how to act when you are the strongest Nation in the World. How to unite a world of democratically elected nations against oppressors. Some may not be able to see the value because of partisan thinking. I get it if you do, you have a right to your feelings, but we are facing a group of people that do not care if you are Democrat or Republican. They hate all Americans and their freedom of thought and equality between people, they are fanatics that thrive on fear and hatred to control people. Lets unite America and get rid of our hatred. If you take a look around we are doing well. Take a breath, the sky did not fall. We are not socialists, we have a strong economy. But lets be be the greatest country in the World because we are positive thinking people that embrace freedom, justice, liberty and equality that means everyone has a right to succeed here. Even Kenyan born Socialist Black Liberal Yankee Community Organizers that make everybody have insurance and salute with coffee cups.
