I try to be positive about most things, but all the ranting about police just doing their jobs is really getting old. So they dont pay attention to anything , never check out anything that looks suspicious .. The crime rate gets worse & worse & the same people ranting about their 5 minutes that they were questioned will be asking why nothing is being done.. If you think police are so BAD! YOU put on that uniform, gun & badge & go out there everyday not knowing if you will return home or not! YOU have every single minute of your off time & holidays interrupted to take another call, YOU remove a child from a home that has been abused by their parents.. YOU respond to shootings , stabbings, domestics, duis, accidents and hold it together when it is truly tearing you up inside. I realize that not every single officer is perfect & many have made them all seem to have a bad name.. But while you are being protected & can lay your head down & sleep at night, they miss the most important events with their families, they grieve when there is death, they worry continuously about what will happen next & how they will protect the citizens.. So if you are my friend and you want to Rant about hating officers or how bad they are.. Then out of respect for my husband & his fellow officers .. Please remove yourself from my page..
