I turned on the Bronco game earlier and Peyton (Robinson, not Manning) asked me if I ever played football. As a matter of fact I did. For one day. It was the summer before 7th grade at junior high football camp. My first time in pads. My first time on a field. During pre-practice stretches and wind sprints the coach yelled, Down! and I never came back up. Passed smooth out. Travis Foster dragged me to the sideline. I decided right there as I laid on that field that I would only play sports that took place in climate controlled arenas.
