I understand that a number of my friends have fears regarding genetically modified foods. I do not share those fears. I especially do not share them when I read article after article quoting unsourced, unreviewed and often inaccessible studies backing up those fears. I have a reasonable amount of faith in the peer-review process, which has time and again shot down the sky-is-falling hypotheses of the anti-GMO crowd. Please dont take this personally, but in general, the fact that you dont understand something does not inherently make it evil. Heres some straight shooting from Snopes.
