I understand the idea of fashion, but I wont put my tiny baby, whos used to the warmth and comfort of the womb in stiff denim jeans, polos, anything that I wouldnt find comfortable myself. I dont need a high chair when the baby arrives, he or she wont use it for at least 6 months, likely longer than that. The same goes for exersaucers and walkers. Theyre not supposed to be used until the baby can comfortably bounce on his or her legs while in a standing position. It just bothers me to think of putting my baby in a position that theyre not ready to be in yet, its unnatural. Bottle warmers, breast milk fed or formula fed, theyre pointless. Warm water from the sink works just fine to warm the babys milk. Wipe warmers, use your hands to warm them. With these and bottle warmers, I worry that both would get too hot. I was just reading this checklist for newborns and these things bothered me a little bit. Theres enough money spent, preparing for a newborn, the extra stuff can wait awhile, if you believe it to be absolutely necessary.
