I urge you all to view this post of tweet messages at a sports event , because it proves without a shadow of a doubt that racism is alive and thriving in the United States. Much of the credit for this ugly, and I might add un-American, display of ignorance directed at a little boy singing the National Anthem, goes to the far-right conservative wingnuts of the Republican Party. Not only do GOP elected officials tolerate this kind of buffoonery, but encourage it. What a shame.
